Gloria Ho, MSc, RD graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Master’s of Experimental Medicine and Bachelor’s of Science in Dietetics.

Gloria brings extensive experience from working as a clinical pediatric registered dietitian at BC Children’s Hospital for the past 8 years. She has worked closely with patients of various ages facing a wide range of nutritional needs, with a particular focus and interest in metabolism, energy metabolism and complex clinical cases. She has contributed to diet guidelines for training and competitions for athletes. Gloria’s uses a compassionate and evidence-based approach in her care and aims to empower her clients to make sustainable, informed decisions about nutrition that support their health, well-being, and performance goals.

Trainer Profile: Kayla Jiang

Kayla is a Certified Personal Trainer and recent graduate of the University of British Columbia, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology in 2023. With a passion for helping individuals of all ages and abilities, Kayla brings a wealth of experience to her personal training practice.

Professional Expertise

Kayla has worked with a diverse clientele, ranging from children as young as 7 to individuals over 60. This broad experience allows her to tailor her training programs to meet the unique needs and goals of each client. Her background in competitive athletics—including ultimate frisbee, track and field, and figure skating—provides her with a deep understanding of the physical demands and nuances of sports performance. Since June 2023, she has focused on working with fencing athletes in collaboration with Kinnect, helping them enhance their skills and achieve their competitive goals.

In addition to her personal training, Kayla is committed to giving back to the community. She volunteers her time to assist Kinesiologists and Physiotherapists working with individuals rehabilitating from neurological disorders, including those recovering from strokes and living with multiple sclerosis. Experience

Pat Wu has been a dedicated Kinesiologist since 2015, bringing a wealth of experience in managing injuries and enhancing physical performance. He has worked extensively with seniors and athletes across all levels, from recreational participants to high-performance competitors. During his MKIN program, Pat received a scholarship to serve as a graduate assistant strength coach for UBC varsity sports, where he honed his skills in sports needs analysis and individualized return-to-play planning.

Treatment Philosophy

Pat believes in the transformative power of exercise and views the ability to change our bodies as a privilege. His treatment approach empowers clients to take an active role in their rehabilitation journey. In sessions, clients can expect a tailored blend of manual therapy, strength and mobility exercises, and comprehensive education on injury management.

Outside of his professional role, Pat is an accomplished athlete as a provincial champion in Olympic Weightlifting, and competed in cheerleading at the the World level.
